The day has finally come. Shuksan can no longer go on long bike rides with us. We're now too fast and he's getting older. I don't know what I'll do when my little buddy dies and I don't like that he's older but such is life.
I feel like Shuksan is not very old but then I remembered when I brought Indy up to your house to meet him when she was a pup and she's an old girl now too... it's not fair that pets have such a short life span.

I am right there with you. My boys get more grey hairs every day. I don't know what I will do with out them.

Sarah, I love this picture of Shuksan. Maybe you should frame this one.
He's not old, he just got run over by a camper! You guys have unreasonable exercise expectations for dogs. He's got some time yet, in my opinion.
Unreasonable? Whatever! Shuksan has nine lives...he just happens to be on his 9th.
